You've Got to Change Your Evil Ways, Janice!

Just in case you missed the very successfull Recall Janice Daniels Fundraiser tonight, here's part of a song by the band, sung by one of our favorite contributors here at KTS - Rob!
(Don't have time to edit, so forgive it's raw quality.)

  3. I can't believe there was a band there! It's great to see people are having some fun with a very difficult time for Troy. I've sent my donation in already but now I wish I had gone last night. Looks like it was really fun.

In all seriousness, her hyper-partisan ways do need to be stopped. She's welcome to her beliefs and welcome to practice them, but not from Troy's nonpartisan council table.

  4. Fantastic turnout and energizing! Very uplifting to see people come together to end the negative downward pull of the current mayor. Time to get the vote out in November! This is not "small group of people" as the mayors website would have you believe. There were over 8,000 signatures to recall. I'd say that is significant and makes a statement.
    Recall and reclaim.

  5. A fun time was had by all! It was so refreshing to see and meet new people who have a passion for our fine city and want what is best for it.

A big thank you goes out to everyone who helped and participated. Together we can make a statement that Janice's type of behavior is not acceptable and will not be tolerated.

  6. I had another event the same night. I decided to drop by on my way home. Even though the fundraiser was technically over, people were still lingering and enjoying one another's company. I was very much struck by the fact that I was looking at a mix of Republicans and Democrats. A new guy to the scene sat down next to me and, after quietly looking around the room, smiled and said: "We might not all agree on everything, but this is one idea we all seem to be able to agree upon. We need our city council to find it's center again. We'll get this fixed. I know we will." From his lips to God's ears!

  7. Yes, it was nice to see Republicans, Independents and Democrats mixing it up at this event. I have always thought that if the world could get along like all the different ethnic groups in Troy, what a peaceful place it would be. Now I wish that Congress, and people in general, could get along as well as this group at the party did. We do have things in common and it's nice to be reminded of that with all the rhetoric!
