  1. Do you know if there will be police support at this debate? Seriously, some of the TCU people scare me and I don't want to run into any problems by attending the debates.

  2. Because of the threatening, disrespectful attitude they attract, there is usually a good police turnout.

  3. They really do try to be quite intimidating. I make sure I have someone with me, just in case, due to a previous incident. It's unfortunate that we can't all behave like respectable adults.

  4. This isnt a debate, it's a candidate forum. Based upon the current format proposed, there will not be time to ask and answer many questions. This will be from 7-8 pm. Candidate opening statements will be 2 minutes (as of this writing). Thats 20 minutes of opening statement for a 60 minute program. After that, Charlie will moderate questions as time allows, and will get the questions via the LWV (I believe this will be handled by either Karen, or Pam)....I'm doing the 'tv part' in cooperation with LWV and CMN. I know from previous events I have done in cooperation with the LWV these are well organized events and are primarily aimed at voter education. Period. Tom Belian.

  5. I was just advised that the opening comments will be one minute per candidate. This is a good thing. More time for q&a . Tom Belian
