In the same newsletter where Sen. Pappageorge explains how to appeal property tax assessments (and thereby take even more revenue from starving city budgets) he also tells parents that in honor of March is Reading Month, they should get library cards for their children.
At what library, Sen. Pappageorge?
Troy is the largest part of Sen. Pappageorge's 13th District. Yet apparently he doesn't know that Troy's Library will close on May 1.
We didn't see Sen. Pappageorge at any meetings trying to help save Troy's library. He never said a peep about it.
And the newsletter doesn't mention that it will cost $100-$200 to get a card for a child at any of the nearby libraries that WILL ALLOW Troy residents a card.
So, gee, Senator, thanks for your advice.
Send him your thanks here!
